Hardwax Oil

Biohouse Hardwax Oil is a wood stain made from natural oils and waxes. Notably, Biohouse Hardwax Oil is not a surface finish (no plastic resins); it instead penetrates wood. This eliminates blistering, cracking, or peeling. More importantly, refinishing does not require sanding. Additional Hardwax Oil can be applied to cleaned surfaces. This reduces both waste and material use. Note that floors should typically be refinished once every year, depending on traffic.

Biohouse Hardwax Oil is formaldehyde free and EN-71 certified as non-toxic; indoor air quality is not effected by its use. This is a highly notable sustainable feature for a flooring finish. Biohouse Hardwax Oil is biodegradable and can safely  (non-toxic) degrade when disposed of.
